The Redwood Empire Food Bank has partnered with Farm to Fight Hunger—and we’re looking for volunteers to join us in the fields! You’ll help harvest fresh, delicious produce that goes directly to our neighbors facing food insecurity. The best part? Farm to Fight Hunger donates 100% of what they grow, with a focus on culturally appropriate foods that truly nourish our community.
Farm to Fight Hunger - Westside Road is a 2+ acre farm just west of downtown Healdsburg. This location grows summer squash, tomatoes and peppers that will go to distributions and the Community Kitchen. This is an outdoor, hands-on opportunity—you can expect to get your hands dirty! Volunteers will work in open fields, bending, kneeling, and carrying buckets of produce. There is no restroom at this location.
To learn more about this opportunity, watch our Farm to Fight Hunger Volunteer & Safety Guidelines video.
