Special Event Food Distribution at Elsie Allen High School
Please bring a chair if there happens to be downtime!
This opportunity is a walk-up food distribution:
Handing out food to walking participants. Typically participants bring their own rolling carts or bags. There are various jobs available that fit everyone’s needs; from flagging cars to passing out apples.
Please keep in mind:
- You will have to stand for a long period of time but are able to take a break whenever you need one. If you need accommodations, please let the coordinator know.
- We’d love to have volunteers that can commit to reoccurring sites but it is not required.
- You do not need to be bilingual but if you are that is awesome!
- Our main goal is to feed the community and make sure you have a great time volunteering.
- We ask that you read the Volunteer FAQ before volunteering
