This volunteer opportunity is a drive-thru & walk-thru food distribution:
Volunteers will help load produce items, canned food boxes, bread, and diapers into participants' cars during the drive-thru or handing out food to walking participants. There are various jobs available that fit EVERYONE’S needs; from flagging cars to passing out apples.
Please keep in mind:
- You will have to stand for a long period of time but are able to take a break whenever you need one. If you need accommodations, please let the coordinator know.
- We’d love to have volunteers that can commit to reoccurring sites but it is not required.
- You do not need to be bilingual but if you are that is awesome!
- Our main goal is to feed the community and make sure you have a great time volunteering.
- We ask that you read the Volunteer FAQ before volunteering
Please ask the Redwood Empire Food Bank Coordinator for instructions upon arrival. This volunteer opportunity is located at Burton Avenue Recreation Center at 7469 Berenice Ave, Rohnert Park. Currently in the Benecia Pool parking lot.
