Our volunteers are vital, helping us nourish children, seniors, and adults across northern California. In our warehouse, you will be gleaning and packaging fresh fruits and vegetables for individuals and families throughout our community, assembling grocery boxes for seniors in need, and sorting donated non-perishable foods for distribution throughout our service region. Please keep in mind: All volunteers regardless of age must be individually registered for the shift before coming to volunteer. We accept volunteers of all ages, but please use your best judgment when bringing small children as we are an active warehouse and note that all volunteers, no matter how young, must be registered. Youth over 14 can volunteer without a parent or guardian present. Respect, fairness, and kindness are essential. Negative remarks or harassment will not be tolerated. Closed-toed shoes are required and volunteers should bring a water bottle. Our priority is to feed the community and provide a great volunteering experience for you. Please review our Volunteer FAQ. Please arrive for your shift on time. For safety and staffing reasons, late volunteers may be asked to come back another day. Thank you for helping us provide nutritious food to 142,000 individuals. Contact us at volunteers@refb.org or 707-523-7900 with any questions. This volunteer opportunity is located at 3990 Brickway Blvd. Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Upon arrival, please check in at the kiosk in the lobby and wait for the shift to start in the lobby or for a staff member to lead you back to your workspace.
