We are thrilled to announce Kathy Inman as Volunteer of the Month for April. Kathy volunteers in the warehouse, in the kitchen, and at distribution sites every week! Kathy is always willing to lend a helping hand and has even stepped in to assist with some extra special projects in the office. When asked why she likes to volunteer, Kathy said "It feels good to be able to give back and do something for somebody else". Kathy's favorite place to volunteer is in the Kitchen Collective. "It's fun to cook, and I always learn something new from Chef Don." When she is not ending hunger, Kathy enjoys traveling, eating at good restaurants, and spending time with her pet parrot, Queso.
