Who We Are
Since 1987, the Redwood Empire Food Bank has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We distribute food through our own programs and our partner organizations in Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt and Del Norte counties. We work on the front lines of food assistance in our region playing a crucial role in helping individuals, families, seniors, and children.
Description
We are looking for W5 Volunteers for our Distribution Sites who are willing to use our computer to help us register participants for our food programs. Please see preferred qualifications below:
Bilingual in Spanish & English
Team player with excellent customer service skills
Kind and respectful
Comfortable with technology
Able to work in varying environments (rain or shine!)
Able to commit regularly at Distribution Site(s)
Find a Site - We currently need W5 volunteers at the following locations:
Santa Rosa:
Valley Oak Park Apts. - 2nd Fridays from 9-10:30am (English/Tigrigna)
Petaluma:
New Life Fellowship Church - Tuesdays from 9:15-11:15am
West County:
Monte Rio Community Center - Wednesdays from 2-4:30 pm in Monte Rio
