Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month to you!
On behalf of everyone at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, we want to THANK YOU for your time, we are incredibly grateful for your support. Our community relies on the selflessness and dedication of volunteers like you. Your willingness to help has strengthened our mission and makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
We hope you feel valued each and every time you volunteer, but this month we hope you feel appreciated even more! To show our gratitude, we will have raffles throughout the month, and in honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 16th-22nd, we will have something special for all of you who are volunteering.
April Volunteer of the Month 
We are thrilled to announce Kathy Inman as Volunteer of the Month for April. Kathy volunteers in the warehouse, in the kitchen, and at distribution sites every week! Kathy is always willing to lend a helping hand and has even stepped in to assist with some extra special projects in the office. When asked why she likes to volunteer, Kathy said "It feels good to be able to give back and do something for somebody else." Kathy's favorite place to volunteer is in the Kitchen Collective. "It's fun to cook, and I always learn something new from Chef Don." When she is not ending hunger, Kathy enjoys traveling, eating at good restaurants, and spending time with her pet parrot, Queso. Join us in congratulating Kathy as our April Volunteer of the Month!
