Thank you so much for supporting the Redwood Empire Food Bank through Safeway’s Nourishing Neighbors Holiday Fundraiser on Saturday, November 15th. Below are important details for your volunteer shift:

Event Details:
Safeway will be hosting its annual Nourishing Neighbors campaign on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and we’re seeking Redwood Empire Food Bank volunteers to help distribute flyers at the store entrance. You’re welcome to bring family or friends along!

When you arrive, please check in at the Customer Service Desk or with the store manager, Josh

Volunteer Shift 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM:
Please arrive at your designated Safeway location at 11:00 AM and check in with the Manager on Duty at Guest Services. They will provide you with flyers to distribute to customers entering the store. These flyers encourage shoppers to donate $3, $5,or $10 at the register to a local nonprofit, although they don’t explicitly mention the Redwood Empire Food Bank. As a volunteer, we kindly ask that you inform shoppers that the Nourishing Neighbors campaign helps support the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Please distribute flyers until your shift ends at 1:00. Any flyers you have left can be handed back to the Manager on Duty. If you need more flyers during your shift, the Manager on Duty can help.
